Update as of 1/24/2009:

Elisa has been chosen to be in my Biggest Loser program. She came to camp on January 4th at her own expense to try out camp and see how she liked it. In a little over 3 weeks she has lost 28 pounds. That is not why she was picked though, it was because of her dedication to the program and how quickly she embraced the diet, exercise, and attitude required to succeed.

Both LizzL and Elisa will be doing Simple Low Fat Raw to lose their weight. Their pages will be up by the first week of February. Please keep tabs on these women as they take this incredible journey. Be inspired to join us and gain the courage to battle your own weight issues by breaking old habits, building new ones, and shedding not just the fat suit that is keeping you from being who you truly want to be, but the notion that you are a victim to your weight. Learn that we all have the power to control our food, our weight and our lives, if only we will step up and do it.

Update as of 1/5/2009:

LizzL, a current member of camp has already been chosen to be part of this program. Four other women have applied and are coming to camp for a month at their own expense to see if we are a good fit. Only two will make it. Last time six applied and only Lizzl stuck with the diet and participated for the full trial period, so we will see what happens by the end of January. LizzL's site will be going up in a week or so. She is doing great at camp and is looking forward to showing the world what raw food can do!

Who I am looking for:

I have given away a lot of my time over the past three years. Most of it was to women who were not ready to make the type of commitment necessary to lose over a hundred pounds. But some did, like Frecs, Jan, Tina, and of course Kara. I know losing the weight is hard, I know keeping it off is hard, but it is doable. It doesn't take the right kind of person as much as it takes a person being at the right time in their life. I want 2 more women, who are ready, I mean really ready to just get this done. Don't think you are ready, know you are ready, and then convince me of it.

Apply if:

  • You have over 150 lbs to lose.
  • You are on the verge of having gastric bypass surgery.
  • You diet all the time, and exercise, but never lose weight.
  • You believe that if you don't do this now, you may not live another ten years.
  • You are ready to the point that seeing this offer has brought you to tears.

Who I am not looking for:

Do not apply if:

  • You have never stayed true to a diet for more than two months.
  • You start new projects all the time and never finish them.
  • You hate and will try to weasel out of exercise daily.
  • You will do things your way no matter what I say.
  • Your family and friends will not be supportive.
  • You will not follow through on the blood work.
  • You are only applying because I said the word free.

What your real cost is:

Nothing in this world is truly free. Here is what is required of you to be part of this program:

  • Your start photos and your daily log with me will be public. Your face will not be blurred. Every discussion between us, good or bad will be out there for people to see. They will even have the right to send you comments or ask questions. See Cheri's Adventure to see how this is done. You will have a website like hers.

  • Your daily weight loss, not your weight will be public as well.

  • You will be required to log and weigh daily. And participate at RFBC with the other members including doing our daily participation thread.

  • You will be sticking to a low fat, high or 100% raw program. You will be required to eat a minimum of 80% of your calories as raw foods (fruits and veggies). Women will be eating between 1000 and 1200 calories a day. Your fat% per day will be below 20%.

  • No processed foods are allowed on this program, so that leaves out breads of all kinds and pastas. Junk food is not allowed, nor is fast food. This is a whole foods eating program.

  • No protein or snack bars are allowed even if they are raw.

  • High Glycemic fruits are not allowed.

  • Bananas are limited to one per day.

  • No nuts or seeds except hemp seeds.

  • You will start your first month working toward 90 minutes of cardio exercise (walking) per day. Starting at one hour a day. By the second month you will have upped your exercise to 2 hours a day. By the third 2.5. The minimum exercise per day after the third month will be 2.5 hours per day. 90 minutes of which will be walking.

  • By March you will have participated in at least one 5K race in your area and provided photos and link to where your results were posted. You don't have to run, walking is just fine.

  • By June you will have participated in at least one 10K race in your area and provided photos and link to where your results were posted. Again you can walk.

  • At the end of each month you will send in end of month photos to be posted on your public pages.

  • You will sign a contract stating that if you do not follow the program or you drop out prior to six months, you will reimburse me for each month of support you received at the 5 day a week level ($99.00/month). That is a big commitment and one I will legally hold you to. I am not willing to give my time away to someone who isn't ready to make at least a six month complete commitment. No excuses, no days off, and no backing out.

If you are interested, email me and let's start talking. There are no exceptions on the rules stated above, so don't ask. If you can't walk an hour right now, don't worry, you can get there within the first month. We have our ways!

I would make a link, but then they would be spammed like I am and never forgive me. They may not check their email every day, so have patience. If you want you can email me and tell me you sent them an email and will make sure they check their mail.

Remember I am only going to take on 2 more women for this free one year offer. I will choose the people I believe will be the most successful, so when you write to me, be convincing. I have heard it all over these past three years, and hopefully will know the right people when I hear from them.

Addendum:

I offered this last November. Six women applied. I brought them all into camp for a month to see how they would do. Three never made it through the first month of just General Membership and two wouldn't do the diet as outline. Only one has made it, LizzL.
