Cheri has chosen to do a High Raw Program.

High Raw is where most the food you eat during the day is raw. For Cheri that is 85% of her calories. She is then able to eat some cooked food. This is usually reserved for rice, beans, steamed vegetables, and lentils. Cheri does not have to have any cooked food if she doesn't want to, but she may as long as she sticks to the 85% raw and less than 20% fat rule.

These percentages are based on calories. With how much weight Cheri has to lose in this short period of time, the fat percentage may be lowered as the program progresses.

Cheri is keeping her calories to 1200 per day. Less than this with the exercise that is required would be too low and could put her body into starvation mode and keep her from losing weight. Most obese women and men are used to starving to lose large amounts of weight, at RFBC we believe if you eat a high percentage of raw and get exercise, the weight will come off at a fast pace.

Although Cheri may have smoothies, juicing is out. Juicing produces high sugar based drinks without the bulk. We believe in whole foods, and frown on drinking our calories.
