I came here looking to loose weight, and the food plan is on the spot. Thanks to it, for the first time, I am loosing weight and I am half way to my goal. I can't say enough about this program. I am a private client of Carlene and started with her on 4-18-10, so I have been here 8 weeks. After about a week I asked her if I could also join the RFBC forums and I have been here ever since then. I love the camraderie and support that is offered here. I love the audios everyday. I listen to them right after I get done walking, before work and they set the positive tone for my day. I have found that the longer I eat raw/high raw the easier it gets and the less that SAD food calls my name. And the exercise also is getting easier and I am hating it less and less I can't believe I have lost 34 pounds in a little less than 8 weeks!!

I have had a great 5 1/2 months, Carlene's guidance was absolutely wonderful. I'm not living in my fat brain skin anymore. I know how to eat well and I am taking action daily. This is not a diet. If you are a food addict, and you are willing to confront your demons, then Carlene is your coach. I once drank a 6 pack of Slim Fast in one sitting. I had pretty much given up on EVER getting control of my weight. After over 30 years of trying every diet imaginable, and in a desperate, last- ditch effort, I had lap-band surgery in Nov 2007. Needless to say, that was a miserable failure, because though I had the physical limitation of the lapband, I did not have the emotional tools in place. I soon learned I could still eat whatever I wanted... and so I did.. it just took me a little longer to get it down the hatch. Since I found Carlene and RFBC, I have learned so much about myself and how to deal with the emotional and mental aspects of beating my Fat Brain. Carlene has 'been there" and she "gets it,' just like all the fantastic women I interact with in the forum. I wouldn't be anywhere else!

After a month with RFBC, I was able to do what I was not with over a year with a personal trainer: get more flexibility in my knee. This program has been amazing! I feel so nourished and energized, and I'm dropping weight and feeling great! The difference between this diet and some of the others I've tried is that I really feel in control of my progress, and I feel immensely healthy. The combination of fresh, amazing food and tons of walking makes me feel so great. The best thing I've ever done for myself was to find Carlene's website and start Finding Your Perfect Diet followed by all of the Fat Brain Behavior courses. I admit that I have no will power but I do have determination. I was determined that I wasn't going to be fat for the rest of my life. I was determined that I could keep up with my children. All of the programs I offer emphasis healthy whole foods, walking, and the importance of redefining your relationship with food. The percentage of raw foods in your diet can be as low as 50%. But I will tell you up front, the more raw juicy fruits and veggies you eat, the faster you will lose. I don't know why, but after almost 6 years of doing this, raw food has proven itself over and over again. Think of it this way. Calories in/Calories out is the true method of dropping weight. Using lots of juicy fruits and raw veggies just seems to give it a boost. For those like me, it is a huge boost.

This is my favorite group. Obese women coming together to drop weight fast and healthfully. This is the diet and exercise routine I used to drop my 136 pounds in 9 months. Our focus is on sticking to the program no matter what. For pushing through each day regardless of what life brings. This is a tough program, but in honesty, the simpliest diet you will ever do. That is what I love about it. No cooking (or uncooking), and no cleaning. Grab that fruit and veggie or even that smoothie and go. After the first month, if you have a good handle on your food, you won't have to use Fitday to log your food. So it makes this even easier. Why anyone would pass on this diet is beyond me. So come do this and drop your hundred pounds in six months like I did. Don't bring excuses or hesitations. Just come and get it done.

Not everyone can do 100% raw or walk for 2 hours a day, but still that desire is burning to get this fat suit gone and gone for good. That is why there is a second camp at RFBC. It is our Fat Brain Buster camp. You will work a personal diet and exercise program with Carlene in your first weeks, and then work with Carlene and the group to not only keep to your program, but to start breaking all those fat brain lies you tell yourself. We never do any psychoanalyzing at boot camp, but we work every day to break the cord between life and overeating. If you are tired of giving into all those fat brain lies and are ready to stand up to yourself, then this is the perfect group for you. The bonus is, you get to do a high raw diet that will make you feel great as you lose that weight and lose it for good!
Everyone in this camp must be at least 75% raw by the end of the first 4 week session. It is still low fat, low sodium and low sugar. If you are not an all or nothing person, this is the place to start. If at some point you want to do some Butt Kicking, you can move over to that camp.

Not everyone likes to get involved with camp. They want to come in, post their accountability, work their log with Carlene and be done. For them, we have an Accountability and Log only camp called Busy Rawkers. You still have to weigh in, you still have to have a plan and stick to it, but you don't have to get all involved with everyone else at camp. Well, you still have to do a diet that is at least 75% low fat, low sugar, low sodium raw and stick to an exercise plan. This camp doesn't let you get out of losing weight, it just lets you come to camp and get out fast. The support from the group isn't as good because nobody will really know you, but with all the professional women who come through camp, it at times can be the only way to get things done.
In December 2010, I offered a free five day program to anyone interested. After we finished, I left it open for others to go through while considering whether or not to join RFBC. There are five days of audios and corresponding assignments. You can't post, but you can listen and read. When you get to the forum, you'll be a guest. You don't have to login.
