Mini May Blossoms Boot Camp

If you apply for camp and do not recieve an email in return within the first 24 hours, please send an email to Carlene using the link in the menu to the left. To help ensure you receive the emails you are sent go to your email provider and make sure to say that any emails from rawfoodootcamp.com and rawkvillage.com are allowed. Many have missed camp because they do not check their spam folders and assume we didn't want them. Don't let that excuse keep you from joining this life changing program.

New: Privacy Option

For some the deterent to belong to an RFBC program is our public pages that show photos (with blurred faces) and daily loss. These public pages work as advertising for us, and they also inspire others to join. If however, these pubic pages keep you from joining, you can add the option of keeping your photos and weigh ins private. The fee for this is an additional $25.00 per Mini Boot Camp program. Allowing us to make your journey public is why fees have been low. Even with our increase in Fees in June, these fees are still nominal for the daily one-on-one support offered.

On the application you will see a check box saying you would like to discuss the privacy option. Checking that box does not obligate you to purchase the additional feature, it just lets us know you are interested.

Remember the regular membership will put out a public page that includes your photos with your faces blurred. The privacy option means you will not have a public page at all. You will however, still show your weight and face to our private group.

 

Think you have what it takes to make it in one of our toughest programs? Here's the scoop. We will start accepting Applications on May 1st.

That means if you want in, you need to get everything to me immediately. Cut off date for getting everything in will be May 12th.

Here is what is required:

  1. Application (use Apply button below):
  2. RFBC Contract, signed and faxed - not mailed. The phone number is on the contract. If you have problems opening and printing the contract let me know and I will email you a copy.
  3. Three Before photos - These need to show your head to your toes. No half body shots. You will need a front facing, side view, and back view. As with our other programs, these will be put up on public pages with your face blurred unless you purchase the additional Privacy Option.
  4. Close-up photo of your face for Avatar.
  5. Membership fee: $39.95 - no scholarships available.
  6. If you want the privacy option that is an additional $25.00

We now offer four versions of RFBC. The fast tough program the women before you are doing with a 15% max fat simple raw foods eating program, a slower, but easier to maintain program of 100% raw with 25% or less fat and some recipes allowed, a high raw program with 75% of calories coming from raw foods with a fat% below 25% and our part-time program where you will stick to the tough program 5 out of seven days a week and see how you do.

Fast Weight Loss 15% max Fat Simple 100% Raw

This is a tough program. It works for those that have an all or nothing personality and who are willing to put weight loss over food. A lot of people think they can do this, but soon realize it is too hard. This is the fastest of the weight loss programs. If you want to drop up to 20* pounds in 28 days and think you can stick to this for the whole time without cheating, then this is the way to go. It is the only way I can do this, and if you look at the women who have succeeded at boot camp, this is the way they have done it.

*For obese women coming from a SAD diet, who do the exercise and eating without wavering, it is possible to lose 10+ pounds in the 14 days. Of course every body is different, so we do not guarantee results. Check our Finisher's page for a better idea of what is possible.

The Diet:

This is a 100% vegan (no animal products that includes meat, eggs, cheese, etc.)

10-15% of fat per day as shown using the FitDay.com free analysis program.

No high GI fruits such as dates. Moderate GI fruits such as kiwis, mangos, figs, and papaya will slow your weight loss.

Only one banana per day

No recipes except for no fat salad dressings.

If you haven't tried raw before, this program may not be for you. It is tough. It takes a lot of determination and resolve, but then it is only for four weeks.

Steady Weight Loss 25% max Fat 100% Raw

Some do better with a little bit of fat in their diet. If that is you, then this is the program for you. You will have to do fitday.com every day of this program to ensure you are staying below the 25% fat. Sprouts are also allowed on this program. Dehydrated foods are not. It is recommended that you eat 1200-1500 calories a day on this program.

The Diet:

This is a 100% vegan (no animal products that includes meat, eggs, cheese, etc.)

10-25% of fat per day as shown using the FitDay.com free analyses program.

No high GI fruits such as dates. Moderate GI fruits such as kiwis, mangos, figs, and papaya will slow your weight loss.

Only one banana per day

Recipes must conform to 25% fat per recipe not how it works into your total daily calories.

This is an easier transition diet than the fast weight loss program. Some women who have done this program have lost as fast as those that do the fast weight loss program. It is harder though for those of us who are not good with moderation. The higher fat is harder to control, so choose this program wisely. You have to know yourself well enough to be able to control the fat. If you can eat a quarter of an avocado and not keep running back to it, then you should be fine, but if you are like me and a quarter quickly becomes a whole, then go to the fast weight loss program.

High Raw 20% max fat at least 80% Raw

Some do better with a little bit of fat in their diet and can't live on raw alone. If that is you, then this is the program for you. You will have to do fitday.com every day of this program to ensure you are staying below the 25% fat. Sprouts are also allowed on this program. Steamed veggies, or vegetable soup and small amounts of animal protein are allowed. No cheeses, chips, nuts, etc., this is still a weight loss program and you will still be dieting. It is recommended that you eat 1200-1500 calories a day on this program.

The Diet:

This is a 80% raw program. Nothing lower than that will be allowed.

No high GI fruits such as dates. Moderate GI fruits such as kiwis, mangos, figs, and papaya will slow your weight loss.

No McDonalds, other fast foods or pizzas. No cookies or cakes. The cooked food must be healthy vegetable based foods. A grilled piece of chicken breast, an egg, or a grilled piece of salmon are allowed, but nothing more. No packaged vegetarian meals these are loaded in sodium. You are here to get healthy, junk food whether vegan, vegetarian, or SAD is not allowed.

Only one banana per day

Recipes must conform to 25% fat per recipe not how it works into your total daily calories.

This is a great way to transition to raw and still lose weight. It takes determination to limit the amount of fat and cooked food in your diet. You will still want to eat primarily fresh fruits and vegetables.

Part-Time Raw

This is a big experiment. Your goal would be to lose 5 to 10 pounds eating like this. This is how my daughter lost 45 pounds in 8 months. How this would work is that for 5 days a week you would be on the fast weight loss program. Then on Wednesdays and Saturdays you would be allowed to eat whatever you wanted (within reason, you are here to lose weight). You will still have to log what you ate on Wednesday and Saturdays, participate and exercise daily, and you would not be allowed to switch days. Wed and Sat, does not mean Friday night or Sunday afternoon. The reason for this is so you can work in small short-term goals. Anyone can diet for three or four days if they know they can take a day off. But don't think this won't be tough. It will be. Expectations for your success will be as high as they are for the other two programs.

Private yet as one!

Because it takes a lot of support to get through even a month of Boot Camp, all four groups will meet together for daily participation, but will not discuss food in the joined area. Each area will have its own private place for participants to log their daily food and get one-on-one support.

Assignments:

There are daily assignments to keep your head in camp and focused on your goals. These are not as intense as the ones given in the 90 Days of Boot Camp program which is geared for weight loss and beating obesity. This program's goal is weight loss.

Participation Requirements:

Daily participation is mandatory. You will lose your membership, and your membership fee will not be refunded, if you miss even one day of camp, so if you have something coming up that will prevent you from participating daily either make arrangements to have a computer available while you are away, or wait until a better time to join.

Exercise:

One hour a day of walking is mandatory at Boot Camp. If you can not do this amount of exericse, or can not walk, you need to let me know prior to Boot Camp so we can work out some other arrangements. Many women get in their hour during their first program by breaking it up into multiple intervals throughout the day. That is what I did when I started. So just being out of shape and not liking to walk won't get you out of the mandatory hour of walking. Only physical limitations will be taken into consideration.

Fee Structure:

Fee Structure is now based on the amount of one-on-one log time you want with Carlene. You can choose from 1 day a week, 2 days a week, 3 days a week, 5 five days a week or 7.

Everyone pays the base fee for the Mini Boot Camp of $12.95. That covers admittance into camp, daily audios and daily participation threads. You can choose to participate every day and only do a once a week log (one-on-one) with Carlene, or you can choose to have daily one-on-ones with Carlene for all seven days. The base fee is the same for everyone.

The remainder of the fee is based on a $3.00/day fee for your one-one-one log. That is less than a cup of coffee a day.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that I will be any easier on you if we are just meeting once a week. I expect the best from everyone who enters camp. No excuses, no exceptions. Don't join unless you are serious about losing weight and plan on using a percentage of raw foods to do it!

Fees are not due until application is processed and all requirements are met. Applications will start being accepted on May 3rd. Until that time the Apply Button is deactivated.
