Last week, we started a discussion on excuses. They are very prevalent in a dieter’s life. And while we had some worthwhile discussion, and over the weekend everyone promised to not let any excuse get in their way, we are going to spend another week examining the lies we tell ourselves all so we can get to eat a food that is deemed off plan.
Some of the ones we will talk about are: other people, needed more calories for the day, I needed to test myself, I thought I could handle just one bite, I hate to throw away food. And others.
At boot camp, there are very few valid excuses. To be able to do anything successfully, you must make good choices and to do that, you can not fall prey to these lies/excuse we come up with daily to sabotage our dreams.
