Many who try other raw food weight loss diets without success, have come to Raw Food Boot Camp and had immediate success. Why? Because with low glycemic index fruits we seem to circumvent the slow metabolism often caused by insulin resistance which many of the obese suffer from. What do we mean by Low Fat, Low Sugar, Low Sodium?
Low Fat Means: No nuts or seeds (except hemp and maybe flax). No added oils. Limited avocado. No dairy.
Low Sugar Means: No added sweeteners including honey, agave, or stevia are allowed in our raw food weight loss diets. We only eat low glycemic index/load fruits so all the high sweet fruits that spike blood sugar are off the table. Also we do not eat high starch veggies.
Low Sodium Means: No added salt. It doesn’t matter what type of salt it is, we don’t use it. No soy sauces of any kind. No soups. Nothing that has sodium added.
There are more specific lists with each of the raw food weight loss diets offered. I just want you to know that we are serious when it comes to a diet that works for the obese. Fat, Salt, And Sugar. The top addictive nutrients out there as well as the most exploited. To break our food addictions, we need to lower our dependence on foods that trigger our desire to keep going after more. The old Lays potato chip ad stated it plainly. “I bet you can’t eat just one.” Well of course not. They are high fat, high salt, and high starch food. Who could resist?
Walking Requirements for all of our Raw Food Weight Loss Diets
I call this a pathway, because exercise plays a key role in how fast you lose weight.
2 hours of walking a day is what is needed for our fastest weight loss, but it is not a requirement. Walking is though.
To be part of the 50 and 100 lb challenges, you must be at the full 2 hours by the end of your first 4 weeks at Raw Food Boot Camp.
Minimum walking requirement is 45 minutes per day in your fat burn zone.
If you have bad knees or ankles and cannot walk, you must contact me prior to joining to discuss cardio alternatives.
Walking, hiking and snow shoeing are considered walking. Treadmill on incline, hiking mountains, and snow shoeing give the best results.
If you cannot walk 45 minutes at a time, yet, you can start slower. I started at six 10 minute walks a day until I felt the need to go for a straight hour. That was in a few short weeks. Miracle Jan started with multiple 2 or 3 minutes loops from her living room, through her kitchen and dining room and back to her chair while using her cane. In 1.5 months she walked a 5K!
While you can do pilates, yoga, spinning or whatever else you like for fun, they do not count as part of your exercise requirement at RFBC. Please understand this before joining our group or full membership areas. Only walking or walking alternatives agreed upon with Carlene prior to joining the group or full membership raw food weight loss diet programs.

Our Fastest Raw Food Weight Loss Diet[/frame]
This program requires focus and dedication. This is the diet our 100 lbs in 7 month winners use. Personally, I think this is the easiest of all the raw food weight loss diets because it is a simple grab and go program. No cooking, no cleaning, no fuss.
About 75% of this raw food weight loss diet is fruit. Low glycemic index and low glycemic load fruits. We have had many diabetics do fine on this diet even though there is so much fruit. That is because we do not eat high glycemic index fruits. This is important to understand. Diabetics also must have greens with their fruit to balance out the sugars.
We use hemp for the bulk of our fat and protein. Click here to see Nutiva’s nutritional analysis of their hemp. Scroll down and look under the picture of their bag of hemp and click on the nutritional information link. I prefer you eat the hemp seed rather than the hemp powder, but many prefer the hemp protein powder in their smoothie. If you do get that, get the one with added fiber. Without the fat to help in digestion many get constipated.
If you get the hemp protein powder, you will need to have a TB of ground flax per day to get the fat you need.

Our Faster Raw Food Diet Weight Loss Program[/frame]
This raw food weight loss diet requires the same focus and dedication of the Rawk Starz raw food weight loss diet. What makes it different, and a little slower is that steamed veggies are allowed. Not everyone can eat raw veggies, and in the winter, many get too cold to live on our version of the raw food weight loss diet. So we have this raw food weight loss diet option. Those doing this program, can steam or make soup with their veggies. No store bought broth or bullion is allowed, no added fats, sugars or salt is allowed. Our no food list stays the same.
For some reason, cooked food slows down weight loss. Steamed veggies even, but just a little. The biggest problem we have with cooked foods is that people find them bland without salt, and the heat of the food, for some, creates cravings for more or other foods. Use spices, not salt to flavor your veggies.
This is a vegan raw food weight loss diet with no processed foods.

Our Fast Raw Food Diet Weight Loss Diet[/frame]
The Butt Kicker Raw Food Weight Loss Diet requires the same focus and dedication of the Rawk Starz and Rawkinator raw food weight loss diets. What makes it different, and a little slower is that up to 20% of your calories can come from cooked food each day. This means you do not have to be vegan to succeed at Raw Food Boot Camp. But, added oil, salt, and sugars are not allowed. Dairy and soy products are not allowed. Basically, this allows you to add lean animal protein, beans, lentils, and quinoa to your food. Breads, pasta, and rice are not allowed as they slow weight loss.
Even though you will still be eating 1200 calories a day, the weight loss will not match that of the Rawk Starz! raw food weight loss diet. They say a calorie is a calorie, but we beg to differ as we have watched this phenomena over and over. Cooked food, even food that is healthy and good for you slows weight loss compared to our all raw, low fat, low sugar, low sodium raw food weight loss diet.
You can still get faster weight loss with us than on other programs. This just lets you have a little cooked food to satisfy the need for warm and savory.

Our Steady to Fast Weight Loss Diet[/frame]
This is our newest program. It is not a raw food weight loss diet, but a whole food weight loss diet, and is being met with excitement and success. It does not offer fast weight loss like our raw food weight loss diets. Again, calories don’t tend to work the same. The sodium, fat, and simple sugar levels are higher. Here, you could add a little honey to your tea or stir fry. Added fats and sodium are frowned on, but not forbidden.
Personally, I could not have lost weight on this diet. I am one of those all or nothing personalities and needed the all or nothing of a raw food weight loss diet. This would have opened too many door for me. Others though are doing great with it. It gives them enough cooked foods to satisfy them and enough choices to keep them happy. The weight loss has not been slow by any means. It’s just not super fast like our raw food weight loss diets.
This is not a vegan diet. You can have lean animal protein, beans, quinoa, lentils, brown rice and no-fat yogurt that you make yourself. No other dairy, breads, soy products or processed foods allowed. Whole foods means you buy the one ingredient and it is made from one ingredient. What you do with that ingredient in your recipes is up to you as long as you stay within our sodium, fat and sugar guidelines.
You won’t get your best results until you walk 2 hours a day. While you can do yoga, pilates, and even spinning for fun, only walking counts in the two hour commitment.

50% fruit and veggies cooked or raw ~ 50% Cooked, unprocessed non-dairy, non-soy food. Rice should always be brown. No Bread or Pasta.

Depression and obesity go hand in hand for many. The depression causes us to not care. We feel trapped in our obesity, but we are too depressed to believe we will ever be able to rid ourselves of it. So, we get caught in a cycle of clogging our bodies with more junk, more toxins, which only make us more depressed. It’s a cycle we can’t seem to break.
Our raw food diets at RFBC are very cleansing, and for some, such as Carlene, that cleansing allows the body to function better. When the body functions better, when it gets unclogged and things start to flow and function as they should, for some, depression clears up or at least eases up. After 6 months of RFBC style raw foods, Carlene was able to stop taking supplements to ease depression. She went from deep dark depression to having not experienced depression in the past 9 years. She believes it was the cleaning of her liver that made the difference. Not all depression can be fixed with a cleansing raw food diet, but maybe, just maybe, yours can. However, if you’re too depressed to even try our raw food diets how will you ever get that cleansing effect. Right!
Our Anti-Depression Diet Add Ons are foods that we have discovered lift mood while allowing continual weight loss. These add on foods are foods you would eat on a regular vegetarian diet: beans, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower and sunflower seeds.
